Love for Chaos
Feature Profile
In Episode 34, I spoke with the hosts about how I got my start in pro audio and what fuels my passion. Other topics include what house sound techs can expect from touring engineers coming through their venues, how mistakes can push us forward to the next level, where and how to find touring opportunities — and — worst catering stories!
“In our premier episode we sit down and talk shop with Willa Snow, one of our favorite Austin area sound engineers/production managers. Willa talks about her career, how she got into this crazy business and her connections with SoundGirls. We talk new school vs old school consoles, dealing with guys in the audio industry and Shiner beer. So let's grab a cold one, and remember to tip your waitstaff!”
I was honored to be the December 2019 feature profile for SoundGirls.Org, an organization that is near and dear to my heart. I would not be where I am without their support, and I hope that I can give back and inspire future generations with my work as their Austin, TX chapterhead!

Backstage chats with Women in Music
Interview
My chat with Thea Wood and Juno Black was both fun and invigorating! I loved walking down memory lane with my first record I ever owned, my first SXSW experience, and the first concert that I attended (it was Sir Paul McCartney during his Chaos and Creation in the Backyard Tour. My mom let me skip school to see it. It was rad).

Feature Article
Allyson Holley from Graceless observed my work with LA-based band Tone in Georgia as we collaborated on their sophomore album. This 10-day project had me falling asleep with ProTools waveforms floating in front of my eyes, and trumpets blaring in my head. I love working so closely with my clients as we flesh out their ideas whenever the inspiration strikes!
